Tell us about your early years and where you came from?
Walk me through your work and what you are doing now in the Technology world
I work as a researcher at the German aerospace center (DLR) on the design of the next generation of satellites for the European navigation system Galileo. I focus on developing software for estimating satellite and ground user positions with simulated advanced constellation designs and signals.
What part of what you do, you love the most?
I contribute actively to my Institute and to my organization women scientists networks and their projects (unconscious bais seminars, mentoring program, discussion rounds, career planning, etc.). Working with women, supporting each other and helping each other rise is an amazing driver in my daily job.
What apps/software/tools can't you live without?
As an expat, WhatsApp is how I maintain contact with my friends all across Europe.
What's the best advice you've ever received?
“Remember that you are not perfect. ” It is easy to enjoy successes but we have to learn to accept defeat also, without questioning our entire existence.
