#FollowUp Tech-Talk @ net4tec in Dublin

Exciting Times! net4tec goes Dublin.
Tech-Talk-Thursdays the new series of monthly after work get togethers in Dublin has started on March 21st, 2019.

The concept is simple- a group of like-minded women and supporters for female careers come together and exchange on trending topics. These talks will be held every month, designed to have an interactive and professional discussion around a proposed topic.

Listen to stories around career development, personal experiences and latest tech trends of our guest speakers.

When launching the event, we had the pleasure to host our role model Niuscha Ansari Persaray and Katrin Schoepp as our first guest speakers.

Niusha, our net4tec role model is a thoroughbred engineer by choice. However, her passion for curiosity has led her path to an even broader variety of careers. She finished her MBA successfully, started a career in IT where she discovered the enthusiasm for sales and people. With her positivity and a strong can-do mentality, she is currently finishing another Bachelor’s degree on computing and informatics. All these endeavours where accompanied by the theories of the book “multipliers” by Liz Wiseman -a must read in her opinion.

Katrin shared her professional journey with us and how her network has helped her achieving her roles.
“Networking is hard, it is not easy!” – she pointed out the effort she continuously had to invest in order to build a reliable network. As a result, she is a board member now of Thrombosis Ireland. She shared her advice around mentors as well: “select your mentor strategically & wisely” – She benefits of 2 mentors of different job levels as well as a private mentor.

Join us for our next sessions if you want to know more about net4tec and fantastic women and men supporting the aim to ensure more women within STEM and digital business.
