Carreer means to me continuous personal growth by taking up new challenges – also out of the own comfort zone.

That’s quite different. First it’s of course people who make a difference in the world, people with a story, courage and creative and clever minds. Especially, recognizing that others made their way successfully – although they had to struggle with a lot of adversities – opens up new perspectives. Secondly, it’s often the tiny details that are inspiring me. This can be an idea of my children, a great conversation or a good article.

I would say the Annapurna Circuit trekking in the Himalaya in Nepal was quite challenging both, physically and mentally.

“Holidays are overestimated“. I got this “advice” shortly before I left to my long-planned trekking trip to Nepal.
However, for me holiday is a very inspiring and precious time. Besides charging batteries, one often gets a fresh boost and with some distance it is possible to look at some topics from a different view point.

Networking is very important to me. With an open exchange at eye level and external impulses it can happen that we think about things for the first time, that we take on different perspectives and thereby find and/or define our own way. In my eyes absolutely necessary for personal growth.

Be authentic and listen to your gut feeling, then everything will work out.
I think the quote of Michelle Obama fits this quite well: „Just do what works for you, because there will always be someone who thinks differently.“
