“My 3 Learnings about systems theory and leadership ” 

Situation/Introduction

Linda has been working in the digital industry for years as a team leader and division manager. In this role and as a consultant to the public sector, she has observed and been in the middle of a range of organisations, leadership structures and approaches to solving problems.

In spring, she took a training course in Future Leadership by intrinsfy in order to integrate her experiences into larger systems theory contexts and to find words for her observations. Linda now wants to share these experiences and concepts with net4tec and give the participants starting points to implement small changes in their own organisations.

Key Learnings & Take Aways

  1. Problems can be divided into blue and red problems.
  2. Depending on the type of problem, different structural measures should be chosen to deal with the problems in the best possible way.
  3. People are part of their system and behave accordingly.
  4. The company’s market belongs as part of the company
  5. There is always a need for an external reference for problems and their solutions.
  6. It needs teams to solve red problems.
  7. It takes control and official power to solve blue problems.

About the speaker

Passion for people, processes, structures and conceptual and entrepreneurial creative thinking and design in teams.

Linda Oldengurg has been working as a team leader and division manager in the digital industry for years. Her entrepreneurial focus is particularly in the area of corporate and organisational development as well as personnel management and development. Specialist knowledge such as process management, digital business processes, process automation as well as eGovernment in public administration form part of her professional business.

“I am passionate about being a Regional Leader for the Lean In Network Hamburg, a PANDA Ambassador for Hamburg and a net4tec Role Model to introduce women to the “power of networks”.
