From handling the initial request and dealing with the pressure that can arise, to delivering your talk with confidence, we will reflect on practical strategies to help you manage stress at each stage. We will explore the art of crafting your message and delivering it effectively, tailored to different formats such as online or in-person engagements, with or without slides. We will share valuable insights on captivating your audience and making a lasting impact.”

About the Speaker

Cécile Depret works as a researcher on satellite positioning at the German Aerospace Centre (DLR) in Munich. In addition to their research at DLR, she co-founded and manages several minority groups including women, LGBTQIA+ community and internationals in Germany.

Cécile is active as a public speaker on the topic of sexism and microaggressions in STEM, communicating science and network creation. She advocates for the visibility of women experts for Women in Aerospace – Europe and leads Sexisme Flop, a feminist association calling out brands making use of sexist advertisements.

Cécile is a pioneer at net4tec.
