Every turn in my career was a challenge – the biggest one so far was probably starting a company together with my husband. However, I find jumping in at the deep end much more pleasant than the nagging question “what if?”.

On the one hand, networks are work for me, because they want to be maintained – I always have to push myself a little to do that. But this investment has enriched me with a number of contacts, positive experiences and exciting discussions.

To learn new things, to expand my world view through exchange with others and to question it again and again.

It’s worth trying new things. The worst-case scenario that we like to imagine never happens.

Don’t let diversity campaigns irritate you too much – unfortunately, these are often a symptom that something isn’t going as diversely as it should. It is much more exciting to talk to the employees about their real experiences in the company or to network with role models to learn how they managed to break through patterns. This applies to both men and women – diversity is much more than gender diversity!
