Women and men are welcome!

Our #27 morning session takes place on Thursday, December 03, 2020 –> from 8:30 to 9:30 am

Coffee, Chat & Learn with Svenja Lassen

Situation/Introduction

Your LinkedIn Profile is in many cases the most important aspect of your professional presence online. You can use LinkedIn to connect with people in your network, and recruiters often use it to find you when they are sourcing candidates.

Your profile includes details about your job qualifications, employment history, education, skills, and experience. To get the most out of LinkedIn, it’s important to make your LinkedIn profile as comprehensive and compelling as possible.

Also, your LinkedIn profile can increase your visibility online and help you build a professional brand that showcases your background to prospective employers.

Learn in this session about tips to make your LinkedIn profile stand out from the crowd.

Key Learnings

Women are unfortunately still clearly outnumbered in the start-up landscape: there are only 16% female founders and even fewer female investors (8%). Yet diversity is always an important key to economic success. In order to sustainably increase the proportion of women in these areas, Svenja Lassen has founded an investor network, in which she imparts knowledge on the topic of investments and connects interested women with experienced business angels and experts.

Key Take Aways

About the Speaker – Svenja Lassen

As Managing Director, Svenja Lassen has been responsible for the development of the primeCROWD start-up investor network in Germany for the past two years. In addition to the desire to promote innovation, her main concern is to inform more women about the topic of start-up investment and to inspire them for the possibilities of this influence – also in order to increase the number of female start-ups and impact investments. To this end, she conducted a study in Q1/2020 with the Chair of Entrepreneurship at the IUBH on the topic of ‘female business angels in Germany’, based on the results of which she created her own network and exclusive offers for female investors.

The trained journalist is a certified business coach, experienced moderator, pitch trainer and thoroughbred networker. She loves to bring together people who benefit from each other and to support them in their challenges. She has always been interested in the topic of female empowerment – whether as senior editor of COSMOPOLITAN, where she was responsible for the business section and the special issue of cosmo@work, and has written about female entrepreneurs. Or as the initiator of the further education platform Supporther-Academy (www.supporther.de), which she accompanies as a consultant for Bauer Verlag, where she moderates workshops.
