Exploring new opportunities to keep growing within our community in times of covid-19 we invite you to join us to our new „Virtual Morning Session“ series.
We would like to create the space to exchange within the community, to network online as well as discussing current trends that we are all facing at the moment.
Women and men are welcome!

Cross-cultural experiences @workplaces
Workplaces turn more and more global, colleagues have different cultural backgrounds and the culture of your company might be different from your own culture.
This workshop will present frameworks of cultural dimensions developed by well-known cross-cultural researchers, like Hofstede and Rosinski to sharpen our awareness for different cultural orientations.
Suggestions to succeed on the parquet of cross-cultural collaboration will be provided with tools like the trust formula and cross-cultural matrices.
And the whole morning session will be seasoned and enriched by sharing your experiences and thoughts.

About the Speaker
Dr. Lydia Simon, Global Sustainability Director by Covestro
Lydia is a chemist and working for more than 20 years in the chemical industry (Bayer Material Sciences /Covestro) and lived 13 years abroad, in Belgium and China, where she held several managerial positions in production, quality management and innovation. She was inspired by the daily cross-cultural learnings and decided to build a coaching practice around cross-cultural coaching in China. 5 years ago, she moved back to Germany with her family.
Experienced in building new organizations and pushing for innovative projects and in alignment with her values, she took over the Sustainability Manager position within Covestro and is currently leading a cross-industry innovation project aiming to develop a breakthrough technology in terms of sustainability and production.
Independent from the place of living, coaching and cultures will remain her passion. She joined net4tec 2 years ago to support and encourage women in their careers in technical areas and to change her experience to be often the only woman on the table.
