What means career for you?
I love to live by a quote from B.C Forbes: “Think not of yourself as the architect of your career but as the sculptor. Expect to have to do a lot of hard hammering and chiseling and scraping and polishing.” I mean he’s so right. Career means failing, growing, falling & rising – and if Plan A is not working out, there are still 25 letters in the alphabet.
What inspires you?
People who have dreams, turning into visions and goals – so “doers” who are willing to find solutions instead of excuses.
What was your biggest professional challenge and how have you solved it?
Building up & expanding our Braintalk empire as sidepreneurs with so little time. Our solution: value time and be efficient as possible – never thought we will make so many great things with so little time.
What is the worst advice someone has ever said to you?
You have to accept your destiny.
What importance have career networks for you in your professional career?
Being visible, learning from other experts, collaborate on common topics and new business opportunities – and of course: achieve great things with your engagement in the network.
What is the learning or advice you would like to share with other women?
Be a voice not an echo: fight for your rights, your position, your work and reinvent yourself. Don’t stay at the same level – you have to push the boundaries to be extraordinary!
What is your proudest achievement (so far)?
Building up and expanding our Braintalk Empire as sidepreneurs and two ambitious women; Being in diverse ApplePodcast or Spotify Charts with our Braintalk Podcast or asked for cool & innovative cooperations, speaking on events about “How-to boost your Business with Podcasts”, running our Podcast-Consulting business and celebrating our Braintalk Podcast-Community with many members yet. That’s all what we’ve achieved in just ONE YEAR.
