Being able to live off the things I love. To be able to contribute my strengths and my passion every day, not to be satisfied with the status quo, but to keep researching how I can fully develop my potential.

That was clearly the first time as a single parent, working full-time, in the final stages of my studies. In retrospect, it seems to me that I was three people at the same time. I am very proud of how much I was allowed to grow in all areas of life with the situation.

A big. I have made all decisions regarding my career in conversations with capable and wonderfully supportive people from my networks. Starting with my first boss and mentor to the many women I have met on my way so far. It doesn’t work without real networks and an open, appreciative exchange with others.

I wanted to be an astronaut, then a scientist, then an actress. Sometimes I have the feeling that all my wishes have come true, even if only in a figurative sense.

Strong women in my environment, especially those who dare to pursue innovative and sometimes unpopular ideas. When I see other women working passionately on a topic, it quickly jumps over to me.

An exciting question, I immediately thought of a few – whenever I thought about it for a long time, I had to admit to myself that there was always a spark of truth in it. Basically, however, the advice that went in the direction of behaving cautiously as a woman. The pieces of advice that basically just show you where we still stand today when it comes to the different perceptions of people read by women and men in working life.

Show yourself as you are. Say what you think. Learn to discern what concerns you personally and what is merely a symptom of misogyny and conservatism. Allow yourself to have fun, fight for care work to be recognized as work.
