What means career for you?

Growth only happens with a learning mindset.

What inspires you?

The power of inspiration and ideas development comes from knowledge and creativity. I find both in the exchange with others and love to discuss and talk about it.

What was your biggest professional challenge and how have you solved it?

The time and resource management of writing a Ph.D. thesis while working as a research manager and spending your free time as a local politician. It is still ongoing. I only manage them successfully because I love what I do.

What is the worst advice someone has ever said to you?

Technology isn’t for you.

What importance have career networks for you in your professional career?

Exchange creates knowledge, self-reflection, and community. It always expands my idea of what our profession can achieve.

What is the learning or advice you would like to share with other women?

“Each time a woman stands up for herself, without knowing it possibly, without claiming it, she stands up for all women.” Maya Angelou

What are you passionate about?

I really enjoy being a volunteer politician and changing things in my city. Nowhere else do you feel more the immediate impact of your ideas, decisions, and compromises.
